If I give out only samples do I need to register with the Board and pay the fee?

 

No.

If I give vaccines do I need to register with the Board and pay the fee?

If I work in a non-profit organization, do I need to register with the Board and pay the fee?

 

You do not need to pay the fee, however, you do need to register and send a copy of the documentation from the Corporation Commission showing non-profit organization status.

If I only write the prescriptions but not fill them in my office, do I need to register with the Board and pay the fee?

 

No.

What if the organization I work for has it’s own pharmacy? Do I still need to register?
 

No. The Pharmacy Board will monitor the pharmacist within that pharmacy.

Are there specific rules to follow when dispensing medication from an office?
 

Yes. Please read statute 32-1871 and rule R4-22-107.
